Today’s quick Photoshop hot to video is a very handy way to quickly take a bunch of selected PS layers – and group them into a newly created and named Photoshop folder. An even quicker way is to select the layers you want to combine to a folder and use the keyboard
shortcut which is ctrl (command) + G.

  • hi! i don’t see any group from layers… option in the list

    • What version of Photoshop are you using?

    • Well, I too don’t see this option in CS6

      • Try using the Control (command) + G shortcut. I’m using creative cloud so am up to date with PS. I’m running 13.1.2 – What are you guys running?

  • Textfield

You can hold shift + alt and right click on layers to select and hit cmd + g to group at once. This will allow you to select layers right at the canvas, not the layer list.

  • Thanks. nice tip.
